2022 was a year filled with both joyous moments and exciting achievements, so much so that we’ve decided it’s worth recapping!
We began the year with an 8th of March campaign addressed to our wonderful community of ladies. Through #WomenOfUSS we wanted to share our sincerest appreciation and respect towards them, as they never cease to amaze us.
During this wonderful spring month, we also inaugurated our brand-new office, freshly renovated and ready for our colleagues to enjoy. The Office Reveal was also accompanied by our InfoDay Event, which for the first time ever was held in a memorable hybrid manner, allowing everyone to enjoy it.
In April, we were thrilled to have Eduard Ezeanu from Mind Architect join us for an online webinar about Stress Management. It was a delight to learn from a specialist like him. During the webinar, we also discussed the causes and effects of stress, as well as how to better manage it.
In May, a part of our colleagues competed in the Companies Flag Football Challenge, winning a fabulous and well-deserved first place! It truly was teamwork at its best.
We’ve always taken great pride in our colleagues, and with good reason: our #USSteam is second to none! This was also the reason behind the #USSpeople campaign. We wanted to thank them for inspiring us to be a better workplace every day. And there were so many wonderful experiences shared through this initiative, here’s to many more!
The end of spring was marked with a Rooftop Party organized by our colleagues. We love a good party, and this was a wonderful opportunity to have fun and reconnect.
In June, we had some very special guests at our #USS office. Thanks to Digital Kids Cluj, a project that strives to teach children about the magic of programming, several kids had the opportunity to learn some of the basics of programming. We were so excited to collaborate with such amazing people and help them spread the passion for coding!
July was marked by our annual Summer Party Event, where we had lots of fun and celebrated together with our special guests from Vienna and Plovdiv. There are indeed many things to celebrate, one of them being loyalty, which is highly valued at USS. We wanted to offer a special round of applause and gratitude to our employees who have grown alongside us for 5, 10 and 15 years. We are many things, but most importantly, we are a united team that shares the same purpose and values!
The highlight of the summer must remain our Team-building event held at Lostrița Resort in Maramureș. As we often like to say: we work hard, but we also like to have lots of fun together! That’s why last year’s team building was all about teamwork and good times.
We welcomed September with yet another great event, as some of our colleagues had the pleasure of joining last year’s Team Summit organized in Austria. It was a fantastic opportunity to strengthen the relationships with our international colleagues while having a fantastic time together.
„We are motivated by our passion for people. One of our values is Human Approach – people are our priority and strength.” This was the main idea shared by our managing directors, Iuliana and Michael, at The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Romania, and it was such an honor to be represented there by them.
In October, we joined our second InfoDay Event of the year. After discussing key topics that concern all of us at #USS, we also celebrated the beginning of Autumn with our own Mini-Oktoberfest.
After months of hard work and accomplishments, we started December by welcoming the festive season in the office at our Christmas Market Event.
Santa ClaUSS also arrived in a hurry for the kids of USS at our Kids Christmas Party. The presents for the little ones were brought by our new electric #USScar, that was firstly inaugurated with this occasion. And for our best #USSpeople we prepared an unforgettable Christmas Party. More than anything else, this gathering was about enjoying the Christmas spirit together as a team one last time.
2022 was all about creating amazing new memories and learning how to overcome challenging obstacles together as a team. Indeed, it was not easy, but we truly enjoyed the ride. So, let’s make the best out of 2023, too! Cheers to #USS!
